For Sale: Heathkit DX-100 AM/CW transmitter 160-10 meters, runs a pair of 6146's modulated by a pair of 1625's.
I bought this off of eBay from an estate. I cleaned it up, replaced some caps, put a decent 3-wire line cord and fuse on it. The front panel is in very good shape, except has been modified with the addition of large handles for wrestling this beast into and out of a cabinet/rack. Some rust on top of chassis. Includes original cabinet. Essentially unmodified, except when I replaced the coupling caps in the audio section I used larger value orange drops to round out the low end audio. Under the chassis, there are signs of previous mods installed (and removed) as well as some scorch (zorch?) marks. This transmitter works well on all bands. This is not a collector's quality piece, but if you're looking for a good working boatanchor transmitter, this is a reasonable item.
