There are many vintage SSB rigs on the air every day. There are many amateurs who have as much fun and enjoyment refurbishing vintage sideband rigs as AM'ers do with AM rigs. Dialog from these stations can be as interesting, if not more at times, as AM'ers discussing their issues of parts replacement, adjustments, mods, love life, etc.
