XYLs of all shapes are opposed to competition.
They dont like:
1.) Boats (they have girls names and take up your time)
2.) Antique Cars (see above)
3.) Any car but hers (yours rides too hard, is hard to drive, is
too high.....)
4.) Any room that looks like you could enjoy it .(Ham Shack)
5.) Most, but not all animals. (cats seem to be excepted, maybe
because they are uppity too)
6.) Fishing (unless you bait the hook and clean the fish and dont
go too often)
7.) Hunting (totaly out, guns are too noisy)
8.) Your Naptime (after all, you should be doing something, even if
its wrong)
9.) Any movie that you would like. (ocassionaly comedys are excepted)
10.) Anything that you are wearing at the time. (it doesnt
match...what, you never know)
That having been said, my wife of 45 years has come to accept, not like,
mind you:
1.) Our steel hulled schooner, Millennium Falcon
2.) My 7 antique cars and motor home.
3.) Her car is out of commission......for now.
4.) The Collins S-Line and HW-101 in the guest bedroom.
5.) Our cat, "L. Gato" (The "L" stands for Luther)
6.) Redfish if I clean it.
7.) Wild hogs from the front yard
8.) My nap in the middle of the afternoon
9.) "Master and Commander", "Star Wars" and a few others.
10.) That if my genitals are covered she doesnt say anything.
