There are no rules. Just listen on the frequency for a while and you will find out how to join and how to quit. Sometimes late in the evenings, especially on weekends, when the 6 pack or 12 pack kicks in there are people with no manners at all, and they get along just fine because the other guys on frequency don't recognize it.

So, basically, you listen, listen some more and decide whether you want to join that particular group or not.
