I'm looking for some ideas on a negative feedback circuit for my "Bartellsville KW" transmitter, as the one I installed does not seem to reduce distortion from the 7581A drivers to my liking.
See: http://amfone.net/ECSound/BartlesvilleTX/mod_circuit.htm As you can see from the schematic, I am returning feedback from the plates of the 7581A's and not from the plate of one modulator. I think I need to pick audio off one of the mod plates. The mods (849 triodes) run about 3KV on the plates, and -150vdc bias on the grids. I'm looking for some starting values of series resistors (and wattage), DC blocking cap, etc. If anyone could get me on the right path, I would really appreciate it. The current schematic above is current, except that now I use a dedicated screen supply for the 7581A's.
