We should try to get them to include language stating that AM may be used ANYWHERE that other amplitude modulated telephony modes such as SB are allowed, AND they should state that there are areas in which regular AM operation is noted, such as from 3870 to 3890 kHz. (Also now 3650 to 3750 kHz is being used more and more too)
We do NOT want AM to become ghetto-ized. This could eventually lead to specific limitations. 73 - Bry, AF4K From: screwdriver <he...@swbell.net> > The inadvertent omission of the AM center of activity frequency > (calling > frequency) -- 3.885 MHz on 80 meters -- has already been noted, and > this > will be one of the recommended revisions. -~ø¤º°º¤ø~-"ßrÿ in FLÕRÎÐÁ"-~ø¤º°º¤ø~- ______________________________________________________________ Our Main Website: http://www.amfone.net AMRadio mailing list Searchable Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/amradio@mailman.qth.net/ List Rules (must read!): http://w5ami.net/amradiofaq.html List Home: http://mailman.qth.net/mailman/listinfo/amradio Post: AMRadio@mailman.qth.net To unsubscribe, send an email to amradio-requ...@mailman.qth.net with the word unsubscribe in the message body.
