When making the assembly of the two filament sockets on the bottom of an 833, I feel it is important to make it so at least one of them is "floating" and can move back and forth a bit in a slot or oversize hole in the insulating bar. That allows some wiggling during tube insertion and removal, and allows the spacing between the pins to expand and contract with temperature. If both are firmly fixed in spacing it could result in cracked tubes.
