I thought Bob was talking about the thumb screws that clamp the tube pins in the socket, I still do, as mine are 6/32 thumb screws, gates was pretty cheap using that fake socket arrangement and it does appear that expansion is not really taken into account very well. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Stevan A.
