have shared a golden age in amateur satellite communication with John.

All,
this is very hard to write, but his family has just told me that my
good
friend John Heath, G7HIA succumbed to cancer and passed away last
night. They
asked me to tell his amateur radio friends here and I know that
amsat-uk have
also been told.
I'l leave it to others to complete his obituary, but I will always
remember his
passion for satellites and the cosmos, his patience in explaining and
teaching
others, his companionship and friendship, and our various contacts
particularly
with Russia.
