Yep, no compatibility issue, as Harry explained.. + I don't think html is
good, we'll have to create an html parser and it will generate bugs and as
I said previously, the less code the better...
I suggest that all psms be in italic/underlined or whatever.. but not
customizable.. which mean
$nick <$psm>
we'll parse that and write
"$nick <" normal
"$psm" italic
">" normal
we'll have to while() through the nick and [split $nick \$psm], making
everything 'normal' and inserting in the correct index, the $psm values in
italic..
this is my suggestion.

Won't it mess up the psm in an official MSN client ?
In MSN 7.5, the psm is in italic and I don't think there is a way to
change that (maybe with msnplus ...)
