Good work, but still many small problems (please note these are not to
criticize but to help :P, previously my comments have been misunderstood as
criticism - although not by Tom ;) ).

A couple that I noticed after using for a minute:

- For starters, why is it using so much ram?
Don't ask me :D

- The first 11 items of a menu is 1 colour while the remaining are a
different colour.
The background image is a gradient. It get's tiled, so thats why.

- If you post a menu too close to the screen it just gets chopped off, it
should post so that you can see the entire menu.
Fixing this.

- Menus don't unpost correctly (as mentioned by others)
Seem to get lots of different behaviours on different distros/platforms with this :( For me, it works almost fine.

- When a submenu is posted if you cross a few other items before getting
into it, the submenu unposts, there should be some sort of time-out, ie you
should be able to pass temporarily across other items while moving the mouse
towards the menu (I was able to once get into the menu without it unposting,
but then a different parent item was highlighted and therefore the menu
looked like it was posted under the wrong menu).
There is, 250ms. Maybe it's too short.

- Not sure if there is a simple way to fix this, but when selecting in the
menus the main amsn program 'loses focus'.
Hmm, thought I'd covered this, I'll try and fix it.
