unable to play any webcam log! click on play and the image stays grey, as
if I didn't click on play...
is it a "you can't play any old exisitng webcam log, only new ones" kind
of bug ?

Probably because I'm not seeking to a valid position. Perhaps we should
align to a certain position? (Modulo ::MSNCAM::GetCamDataSize or
something?)
