the various scripts we have (like for amsn-commits)... that keep us from doing it ? I think we have a similar script for the mail thing..

I think last discussion was about the cvs_date file.. and the amsn_cvs.tar.gz filename.. can we finally decide on something and do the migration ?
amsn_cvs.tar.gz could be kept as is, or renamed to amsn_devel.tar.gz and keep a symbolic link, so people can still download it and no problem. About the cvs_date, I think SVN is better because we can always get the "global" repository version, no need for cvs_data file anymore.
