I mean... that's plain GTK, no skins, it looks well integrated with the whole system... it looks like GAIM looks... it looks like another GTK app. Tk has those strange flat-looking buttons, and looks alien on your system (if you don't use chameleon, and tktile still doesn't support gtk :( ); I don't think of GTK as a way to skin an app, but as a way to make not an app look alien (and moreover to use antialiasing out of the box) from the desktop *in its dialogs and menus*. You can also set GTK to use your current KDE theme (if you use kde), using a gtk theming engine of which ATM I don't remember the name. OT: I don't know if I told you; generally speaking of interfaces and designing, XUL looks interesting, doesn't it? it's completely skinnable, integrates well with all systems, and uses javascript as a scripting language (which really is not bad IMO).
