I think you can start it with the command "::Preferences::Show" but it's incomplete work, so maybe just look at it to understand how it works and see what it lacks. you can also create an empty prefs window with "Preferenceswindow .prefs ; .prefs show .prefs".. anyways, just look at it, you'll probably understand. they're all snit widgets to make our life easier and easy to maintain.
