WLM works differently from aMSN.. when you open a chat window, it doesn't request a chat, even when you are typing, it doesn't send the typing notification... it opens the chatwindow ONLY after you send your initial message. I suppose that in the same way, it closes the chat after 1 minute of inactivity, even if you closed the chat window, if 1 minute of inactivity isn't elapsed, it doesn't close the SB... between two amsn users, we never close the SB so it means it's the SB itself that will close itself after 5 minutes (not 1) of inactivity.
