Hi, First: I'm not active at all now because I'm going through a training period at our national television channel's news redaction. Now what I'm mailing for: Gus, what aer your plans for the CL background ? Right now the image is less a "background" then it should be. It makes the text layered on it less readible and it's too recognisable. I personlayy would prefer something different then an "object". It should be some tiles or a gradient or something, as it shouldn't distract the user too much. It is not becuase we are able to load real images on the background that we *should* do this :). Also, if it's a gradient or a repeating tile, it shouldn't be very "visible" ... I mean low contrast and bright enough.. the user shouldn't even recognise it as a gradient .. .it could be something to generate a feeling of mor depth. Overall, I think we should use the possibility of a bg-image to make aMSN more usable, not less. Maybe it's better to have just one color in the background ... It will depend. or a background could be used to draw "columns" where the contacts are in etc.. You see what I mean ?
