About this 0.97 thread : Vivia you renamed it but you did reply so your
Mail client added a References field in your headers :

 39         <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
So everybody who display its mail using threads view will see it as a
children of these previously referenced mails...
Anyway, the memleak seems to be in Tcl/Tk8.5 as after some heavy tests,
with Tcl/Tk8.4 the same code doesn't leak... I will investigate in
Tcl8.5 versions to see if some of them are good...
