Disabling the plugin removes the problem.  Also, having all other plugins
disabled, I see the same problem. Then I put some debug info in the parse
procs of remind and saw that the slowness comes from there.
For me, to recreate the problem, configure the remoind plugin to show a lot
of lines (like 50) and then reload it, and open a chat. THe window appears
without content (whole grey here) and then after about 4 seconds the content
appears.. during this time amsn was blocked.

When remind is disabled, chatwindows appear instantanous.

It could be another kind of problem that occurs during the parsing so it
becomes very slow though but I don't get it.
