Wouldn't it be better to put this kind of functionality in a plugin? I
thought the intention was to keep the core more clean and less featured and
have more advanced features like this in plugins. Just make sure the code is
modular enough so it's easy to plug it in. And have the plugin ship the
extra pixmaps too please.

Such funtionality would require to create pixmaps on the fly again and I
think these things make aMSN snailslow (dunno if this word exists but it's a
nice alliteration so I created it). back in the time I began using aMSN
because it was snappier then the other linux options. Right now aMSN is
getting more and more cluttered :( (Although I might have commited to this
evli behaviour).
