Nice to know! You haven't found a TODO list simply because there is none. Well here it is: * Make it work I guess you already had a look at the threads about amsn2 on our forum: http://www.amsn-project.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=5994 Anyway here are some tips on how to get started: first decide which toolkit you are going to develop for. If you pick efl or curses you'll have some people working on that too which will be able to help you, if you pick GTK and KDE I think you'll be on your own (but I may be wrong!). Anyways, once you have chosen which toolkit you want to concentrate on, try to log in and do some stuff. As soon as you get to something you can't do or doesn't work, you know what to develop next ;) For now GUIs are less complete than the core, but at some point we'll need to add features to the core to continue developing the frontend. I know this is not a real planning, but it is a good way to gain a good understanding of the code base while developing it a little. Also making it work for your needs is one of the best motivations I can think of while developing a software, so I personally find this approach quite effective. In any way you can join us on IRC (#amsn @ freenode) if you need help on something. Oh BTW, before saving the configuration file maybe we should agree on the file format for the configuration... Also we prefer developing the frontends for now also because it is a way to put to test the code that's in the core, also to understand if we need to do modifications to the design or other things, but I'm sure that in a very short time you'll find your place to go on with development. > Hope I can help, I appreciate very much all the work done and I like the > design of the application, it's very simple and self-explanatory.
