Thanks Stephen,

Now I am really confused. The DNSFILE contains only stars, but till recently I used to 
run a demonstration copy of A-Soft Analog Shell, and at least half the DNS lookups 
were identified, there are none now.
I tried to copy the dnsfile.txt from the A-Soft directory and still zilch.

I might add that I am an amateur, might have overlooked something really basic.
