Hi,
I have a question about optimal Analog set-up for unix, with Analog being
called from the CGI interface. My Apache web server calls Analog which
then runs as "nobody".
Now -- the permissions I have on my log files (all log files from all the
virtual servers I have, around 70 -- with some of them being really big I
can't belivive how fast Analog is!) are set to 640 (rw-r-----), being
owned by root, group www.
Of course, if I want Analog (being run from the CGI interface) to be able
to read the log files, I'd have to change the permissions to 644 (rw-r--
r--), or add nobody to www group. None of the above I like.
Any other suggestions?
Thanks,
Josef D.
