i want to exclude from the report some clients from our domain, so i use
HOSTEXCLUDE in my analog.cfg file :
HOSTEXCLUDE client1.mydomain.com
HOSTEXCLUDE client2.mydomain.com
but i also want the remaining clients form our domain to be aliased in
one single name, so i have another line in my analog.cfg file:
HOSTALIAS *.mydomain.com mydomain.com
so i expect that the host report will show requests for all our clients
but client1 and client2 under "mydomain.com".
this does not work, all requests (including client1 and client2) are
included in the report.
if i don't use HOSTALIAS, client1 and client2 are excluded from the
report...
so how can i combine these 2 directives ?
