Hi,

I'm not sure about the Netscape log format. Perhaps your format changes
midway in the logfile, and you need to specify another logformat. I think I
know what you're asking for when you want to know the offending lines. Just
specifiy DEBUG ON, and ERRFILE newfile in your config file. I've been able
to see what my "corrupted" lines are that way. It was also with a Netscape
logfile as an interesting (to me anyway) side. There is some documentation
about that also.

Nate

Subject: [analog-help] corrupt lines

I have a problem with a large gzip log (>6Mb). At one point Analog 4.1 goes
"large number of corrupt lines" and quits.

the log is one in a series of daily ones I'm working on. Netscape format
with referrer and user agent info.

Analog has had no problem with similar files until today.
I use "LOGFORMAT NETSCAPE".

So I guess the problem is in the logfile. Is there anyway to know which are
the offending lines? Or have them spewed on a separate file?

Or any trick/macumba/charm ?

thank you,
Walter Vannini
