Under IIS under logging for the web site be sure that under extended
properties that you have the date checked. By default IIS 4.0 does not log
the date (do not ask me why). Once that is checked, IIS will record the
date on every line.
Unfortunately, I have not found a way to recover those lines without the
dates - I just delete those lines from the log file.
