These logformats do not store virutual server data. Are they in
separate
logfiles?

If they are in one file, you need to change your server's
logformat to store
the virtual host data, tehn adjust the LOGFORMAT to include %v.
(BTW, Analog
will automatically recognize the format you have)

If they are in separate files, you can use the second argument to
LOGFILE to
specify the domain, e.g.

    LOGFILE server2/2000*.log http://www.csct.ltd.uk
    LOGFILE server1/2000*.log http://www.counsellingtraining.com

Then use the directory report to compare the two domains.

Thanks for your feedback Jeremy.

You said I need "to change our server's logformat to store the
virtual host data, then adjust the LOGFORMAT to include %v".
These two logformats are in the same file. Each line
distinguishes whether a visitor is going to www.csct.ltd.uk or
www.counsellingtraining.com (I gave an example of each above) -
isn't this all I need?

The site is being hosted by UUNET so is it a case of just asking
them for the change to be made? They've been somewhat limited in
what services they can offer (they don't provide any form of
traffic analysis at all as part of their service - hence my use
of Analog) and I have my doubts their support people will know
what to do based on my experience so far.

Finally, if I manage to get this information placed in the log
files what form will it take?

Thanks again.

Dave
