Dear all, I am not sure if this is going to the right address... so please forgive me if not. I am using QuickDNS and Analog and it is working. My problem lies with domain and org reports, giving 95%+ "Unresolved Numerical addresses". QDNS does some of the job, and I get both internal and external names in the DNS cacahe file, but I still get massive amounts of DNS failures. One example is an IP address which reverse lookup fails, but the RIPE database gives the owner as a local company (I knew the IP address, so picked that) Is there a way to get better quality data in the DNS cache? I can do a RIPE lookup on one address, but we get 10k+ hits a day and manual is not an option! Has anyone any idea of how to solve this one?
