[analog-help] FILEALIAS for files under multiple dirs

FILEALIAS *.gif "All Images"
FILEALIAS *.GIF "All Images"
FILEALIAS *.jpg "All Images"
FILEALIAS *.JPG "All Images"
FILEALIAS *.jpeg "All Images"
FILEALIAS *.JPEG "All Images"

why is this only working for the images on the root dir??  How do I get
all files (under any dir) to follow this alias..

also, anyone know if FILEALIAS is case sensitive??  do I need to have
both gif and GIF?
