You did something new incorectly then. It will only display that error if
the logformat is set to AUTO. If you are using drag and drop, you need to
have a DEFAULTLOGFORMAT command.

Summary is supposed to detect MacHTTP log file format automaticaly, but
apparently the newer versions don't do that correctly any more. You could
try using a "User log format definition" of:

DATE-MDY TIME-24 SKIP WEBSTAR-RESULT HOST URI BYTES

That could make a difference. I have only tested through MacHTTP 1.x,
I've never actualy seen a copy of MacHTTP 2.3b1. If none of these
suggestions work, could you send me a copy of one of your log files?
Please send it directly to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>, instead of posting it to
the list.

I looked up the Analog format I used to use with MacHTTP, it was slightly
different than the one I proposed you use:

LOGFORMAT (%m/%d/%y\t%W%h:%n:%j\t%C\t%S\t%r\t%b)
DEFAULTLOGFORMAT (%m/%d/%y\t%W%h:%n:%j\t%C\t%S\t%r\t%b)

Stephen Turner: %C doesn't seem to be documented any more. It works, and
I'm reasonably sure that it used to be documented.

Good Luck
Jason

Dr. Seuss books . . . can be read and enjoyed on several levels. For
example, 'One Fish Two Fish, Red Fish Blue Fish' can be deconstructed
as a searing indictment of the narrow-minded binary counting system.
