As i read the cache.html file, i will be assigning a value to
CACHEOUTFILE..in my case i called it: cache%D%m so it will assigned a data
tag and won't get overwritten. Then, (i think) as the reports continue to
run over the months, the cache files will be read and added to the report
(output)?
Is this correct?

docs/cache.html doesn't go anywhere - it's the documentation for how to use
cache files. docs is a subdirectory or folder in your Analog directory.
You can also have Analog access the zipped "historical" log files, which is
a bit slower, but will give more detailed results.
