HOSTLOWMEM 3 will only remove the Host Report, which, honestly, is
really of little use to anyone (you'll still be able to get the
Domains and Organizations Reports).

Analog will effectively do filtering and aliasing for you, you don't
need an external tool. As it filters and aliases lines, it's own
database only grows as the data actually grows, so this is as
effective as preprocessing (and only requires a single pass through
the log files).

I don't know that you can. I'd be surprised that the problem is in the
actual report generation, the memory error usually comes during data
collection, unless you have just enough memory to hold the data and
the extra for building reports is the 'straw.'
You can set, say HOSTLOWMEM 3, and run the reports. This should free
up enough memory for you to continue. If you absolutely need the Host
Report, then try setting one of the other LOWMEM commands to 3 and see
if that opens up enough.

Again, I think the reason is the same: you have just enough memory to
hold your data, but not enough to produce the reports. It doesn't
really matter what report or process is failing, one will eventually.
What you need to do is reduce the amount of data Analog is storing,
using the LOWMEM commands or by filtering and aliasing, then run your
reports from there.
