Dear Mr. Turner
This morning I've tried to make a cleverest reorder of the logfiles in
subdirectories and I had a fastest processing time. This solution has solved
all my problems.

It opens the logfiles one at a time. But it does have to open and read each
of them to check the dates in the logfile. If you know which logfiles have
which dates, you can do something cleverer yourself and save a lot of
processing time.
