Hi;

We have an internal search engine which produced to sets of log files, access and query logs.
We need to do analysis on the queries being sent to the search engine to enhance users' search experience.

Here are the log file entries:

access.log entry:

47.129.49.6 - - [29/May/2001:00:00:28 -0400] "GET /query.html?col=nortel+provider+esonline+nnsite&ht=0&qp=&qs=&qc=&pw=100%25&ws=0&la=&si=1&fs=&qt=interwan+bridge+management&ex=&rq=0&oq=&qm=0&ql=&st=11&nh=10&lk=1&rf=2 HTTP/1.1" 200 31110 "" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98)"
OR
47.81.5.92 - - [29/May/2001:00:02:13 -0400] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 10975 "" "Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 5.5; Windows 98; AtHome020)"

query.log entry:

2001/05/29 00:01:19  52 provider,irn,esonline,nnsite,intranet 'norpass'

Questions:
                1.    Should I bother analysing both the query log and access log files
                2.    Is this correct: LOGFORMAT (%S - - [%d/%M/%Y:%h:%n:%j] "%r%j" %c %b %u) in the config
                file format analog is not producing any query term reports.

Thank you in advance..
