Title:

I am using the report magic program to display analog's results and ran into this issue:

rmagic is complaining abou the report.dat not containing proper data, as you can see, the

output setting in the analog.cfg is set properly. The report.dat file seems to contain html code

which leads me to believe that it is not outputing the data in the proper format expected by rmagic.

Can anyone shed some light on this problem, Thank you in advance.

analog.cfg:

# Where to write the report
OUTPUT COMPUTER
OUTFILE D:\SearchData\logs\analog\report.dat

rmagic.log:

rmagic: Your input file D:\SearchData\logs\analog\report.dat appears not to contain any proper data. Likely you
forgot to include the setting OUTPUT COMPUTER in your Analog configuration
file. Please fix this and try running Analog and Report Magic again.

You only need to analyse the first logfile. Analog will understand the
query arguments and you can setup your internal search engine reports
with INTSEARCHENGINE command (In Analog 5.x).

You don't need a log format for your logs -- they are standard
combined format. Analog will recognize these automatically. In order
to get query arguments in your request report you need to turn on
ARGSINCLUDE for some requests, e.g.

ARGSINCLUDE /query.html
