I have my server logs sent daily by email and have been anlaysing them
without problem since March. While I was on holiday, the logs were sent to a
colleague. She saved each email as a text file, and forwarded them to me on
my return. I get corrupt line errors and format detection errors with all of
these files, but the logs look identical to the ones I have been analysing.
All the logs I've received since my return are fine. I've deleted the first
four lines which give the email information so the first line is the first
line of the actual log.
Any help with this would be much appreciated, as I am currently missing 16
days worth of data
