It has nothing to do with your LOGFORMAT. Excluded requests are requests that you exclude with FILEEXCLUDE or HOSTEXCLUDE or similiar commands. Failed requests are requests that have a 4xx status code. I'm not sure what you mean by incremental - Analog analyzes the set of logs you tell it to log - the information it provides isn't incremental as far as Analog is concerned, it essentially starts from scratch each time (I'm not talking about cache files here - that's a different sort of incrementalism than what your note implies).
