I have been using Analog 4.13 to analyse some large clf files. However when I use other analysis tools Analog appears to be seriously (and I mean >20%) under reporting the number of successful requests for pages.
Pages are defined as .htm, .html, .php, .php3, .pdf and successful requests with .cgi. I have even used my own Perl scripts with regular expressions and also used grep with regular expressions to parse the file for successful requests. Both confirm the under reporting of page requests. I have read the online analog docs, although these are helpful they do not help me track down the reasons for the page reporting differences. Is there any documentation to show exactly what strings Analog parses log files for within its definition of successful page requests. Obviously these stats depend entirely on what you define your search which is why more detailed info on how Analog would be useful. Any help/comment would be useful.
