What does Analog print on the screen when you run it? > Haven't found out what actually that line would say if I > did create it. The sample shows a line like this: > LOGFORMAT (%j %M %d %h:%n:%j %Y %t %S %b %r %j %j o %j %u ftp %j %j) The sample analog.cfg included in a standard distribution doesn't include a LOGFORMAT, because most people don't require one. If you've got a LOGFORMAT command, and you're not getting the results you expect, the first step is to delete the logformat command.
