Hi

As I posted here before xmas, I have about 8 sites which each generate 2gb in log
files a day. I've settled on analog as a processor of these logs for the time being,
however:

With the amount of hits on these sites being enormous, the main limitation on the live
servers is disk access and bandwidth. I'm trying to figure out ways in which I can get
the log files on to a separate server so I can let analog loose on them. I'm
considering preprocessing the logs (filter against known internal IPs etc), then
either copying them with rsync over the network at night, or writing some kind of
apache module to somehow get the hit information to the stats server without affecting
the live server's performance. Has anyone dealt with something like this before?

Thanks,

Alejandro
