According to the documentation, the "date used is actually the TO date if one was specified, and otherwise the time of the start of the program." So if you run Analog at 00:00:01 on the 1st of the month with this TO directive: TO -00-0131 # to end of last month LOGFILE access_log%Y%m.log # finds access_log200108.log in Sep 2001 OUTFILE report%Y%m.htm should do the job.
