I am still getting the message you were getting:
"./analog: Warning R: In Directory Report, turning off pie chart of only one
  wedge"
Here is an exerpt from my config files:
# Columns available for directory report
DIRCOLS RP
DIRSORTBY ALPHABETICAL
DIRFLOOR 1r
SUBDIRSORTBY ALPHABETICAL
SUBDIRFLOOR 1r
SUBDIR gucdc/*/*/*
SUBBROW */*/*
SUBTYPE *.gz,*.Z
DIRCHARTEXPAND /gucdc/

I want it to give me a pie chart for all directories within GUCDC.
I am using version 5.21 so I don't know if this makes a difference.
