I have been using Analog 2.11 successfully for some years to analyse the log files from our Library Web Catalogue, ftp'd to a PC. Now trying version 5.22, I find that analog 'hangs' when running against more than 2 or 3 logfiles. Typical scenario: 10 log files, min 50 Mb, max 75 Mb; 2.11 does the lot in about a minute, 5.22 stops after opening the third (or sometimes fourth) logfile.
I thought it might have been the config settings, but I've tried a variety of these, including LOWMEM, without any success, or much difference in operation. The following settings complete ok for 1, 2 and 3 logfiles (3 takes about 2 minutes to complete), but not 4 or more: LOGFILE, OUTFILE, HOSTNAME, HOSTURL, IMAGEDIR, LOGO, DEBUG ON, ALL OFF, ALLCHART OFF [PC spec: P3 933 with 128Mb RAM, Windows 98] Any suggestions?
