You can change the Analog config, rather than the log file. As I
mentioned in the previous message you can use wildcards to match
particular files. Or just specify the log file names on the command
line, which might be the easiest.

You can use multiple config files. Create additional configuration
files that have just the settings you want for a particular report,
then use the command-line option '+g' to select it:

     analog +gclient1.cfg client1*.log


> 4) Run Analog.  The DNS lookups take an age with 56k line.

You could (a) disable DNS lookups or (b) use a third-party utility
(see http://analog.cx/helpers/ for several) that will do the lookups
much faster.


> 5) Copy and paste the results into an Outlook New Message.

Not sure what to suggest here. Since you are on Windows, you don't
(AFAIK) have a command-line mail program that you can send to. On
unix, you could do this all with a script and never even think about
it. You might see if your ISP will let you install Analog on your
server and run all the stats from there. It would save the download
time and make automating easy.
