At "http://www.analog.cx/docs/mailing.html",
after the third horizontal rule, the link to Eric
Raymond's article (How To Ask Questions
The Smart Way) takes me to the main page
of a different domain each time I click. If I
try the domain only in the link to his article
(http://www.tuxedo.org/), the result is the
same. Perhaps Eric has moved his article
elsewhere?
That appears to be the canonical source. I would be surprised if Eric
disappeared without forwarding all his information -- he is often
quoted.
Anyway, you can see Google's cached version here (the link was long,
this will redirect to it):
http://makeashorterlink.com/?N21434D63
You can also find lots of old stuff at archive.org's Wayback Machine:

Thanks for finding his article, Jeremy. I have been
a happy YAHOO user for years and didn't know
that Google cached content. Very good to know.
I suspect that I will use Google more in the future.
