I haven' noticed any problems with my DNS lookups, perhaps this is an artifact of my binaries being compiled on Solaris 9, and then being run on other versions of Solaris. If you compile it yourself and the problem goes away, let me know if you use any special flags, etc. and perhaps I can recompile 5.32+ so others won't have difficulties.
