Thanks for taking the time to help me with this problem.

I am running apache 1.3.28 on linux redhat 9.0.

The high number of files with a 302 status was a result of the Redirects
that I put in place to point from the old U RL to the new. If most of my
users are using the old links and apache returns a status 302 is that
considered a successful page view by analog?

For the sake of clarity, it's important to note that
Analog's reports are based on the information in
your log files. For that reason, it would probably
help to know what type of server you are running
(e.g., Apache, MS IIS, etc.) and which operating
system your server uses. I use Apache on Solaris
and symbolic links (ln -s) work as expected. The
interesting thing in your situation is the status 302.
You might already know that this tells a browser
(which might be a search engine) that a page has
moved permanently. Without more information,
it's difficult to say what's happening, but I wouldn't
expect a symbolic link to produce a status 302.
