Sure you can--but they need to be nested properly. So you have to be
clever about it or write an HTML parser to find out where it's OK to
insert them. Yuck!

Modifying the style for main doesn't work for the navbar example,
because the navbar ends up inside of main.

I just needed to add a line to my Makefile. Here's a little context:
index.html: $(LOGS) $(DEPS)
$(ANALOGCMD) +C'OUTFILE $@'
sed --in-place "s/<body>/<body>\n<\!--\#include
virtual=\"\/nav.ihtml\" -->\n<div class=\"main\">/" $@
chmod +x $@
Ugly, but it seems to work like a charm :) In case anyone wants to see
output, I've moved a sample (which won't update; it's just for you
guys) to http://koryukanboulder.com/analog/
