It works fine here, Andy. I added these 3 lines to my analog.cfg:

LOGFORMAT (%Y-%m-%d %h:%n:%j %j %j %j %j %r %q %j %u %S %j %B %j %f %j %c %j
%j %b %j %T)
LOGFORMAT (#%j)
logfile andy.log

Using the 4 sample lines in your 2nd post, and the 1 sample line in this
post, I get this output.

analog: analog version 6.0/Win32
F: Opening lang\uk.lng as language file
F: Closing language file lang\uk.lng
F: Opening lang\ukdom.tab as domains file
F: Closing domains file lang\ukdom.tab
F: Opening lang\ukdesc.txt as report descriptions
F: Closing report descriptions file lang\ukdesc.tx
F: Opening andy.log as logfile
F: Closing logfile andy.log
