In order to follow the cache per log procedure on docs/cache.html, will we

You can name the logfile (and cache file) on the command line when you
run analog. See "command line arguments" in the index
(http://analog.cx/docs/indx.html#C) for a list of available options.
Also, is it possible to include failed requests (mainly 404s) in the
browser summary?
No, analog only tallies successful requests
(http://analog.cx/docs/othreps.html#othCOLS). You could use
STATUSINCLUDE to limit a report to only 404 errors and then see what
browsers show up in that report.
